"Venus favors the bold."
Ovid, The Art of Love

The above quote by Ovid is interesting.

It is sort of a twist on "Fortune favors the bold", but is basically saying "love favors the bold" or maybe "romance favors the bold" (these are what I associate with the word ‘Venus’ anyways’)

I am not sure which quote came first, but I have to agree with Ovid 100%
on this one.

"Does Anybody Notice?"

We are all so busy
Getting to work, going home
That we don’t notice
The sunrise & sunsets

We are so busy
To notice
The stars in the sky

We think there will be time
Surely when we retire
We will begin to enjoy life
Not let it pass us by!

Yet we all question life
why is it people are so busy
They don’t have time to share

What can we afford to notice
What can be just passed off!
Not wonder why?
